Owner & Dog Walker
Hi, I’m Liz — the face behind Mutts on the Move. Dogs have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. My first family dog was a golden retriever, followed by a Staffordshire bull terrier, and from that moment on, I was hooked. These days, Jamie and I share our home with two much‑loved mutts: a beagle and a golden retriever who still behaves like a puppy. When there’s space, they love joining the pack on walks. I started Mutts on the Move with one goal in mind: to give busy dog owners peace of mind. Life gets hectic — work changes, family commitments pop up — and it’s not always easy to fit everything in. Knowing your dog is getting the exercise, fun, and attention they need can make all the difference. Nothing makes me happier than wagging tails, muddy paws, and tired, happy dogs (and yes, paws are always washed before heading home). Life at Mutts on the Move HQ is lively. Alongside our two dogs, we also have a cat, a hamster, and a mixed reef marine aquarium. With a household like ours, I understand how unpredictable life can be — and how important it is to have someone reliable you can count on. If you’re looking for a friendly, trustworthy service that treats your dog like family, you’re in the right place. I’m here to help take a little pressure off your day while giving your dog the care they deserve.
Owner & Dog Walker
Hi, I’m Jamie, and animals have been a constant thread throughout my life. My first boys, Mokie and Skippy, were two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels who taught me just how deeply dogs can shape a home. These days, Boomer and Teddy carry that torch — and honestly, I can’t imagine life without our fur family. Most of my career was spent in public service, supporting people through tough moments and learning the value of patience, empathy, and steady hands. Those same qualities naturally guide the way I care for the dogs we look after. When Liz launched Mutts On The Move in September 2025, it quickly became clear that this was more than a solo venture — it was something growing, something meaningful. After some thought (and a big leap of faith), I joined her full‑time. It was a change in pace and lifestyle, but absolutely the right one. We haven’t looked back. Now, working side by side with Liz, I get to combine my love for animals with a lifetime of caring for others. Every dog we walk becomes part of our extended family, and I’m proud to bring my experience, heart, and commitment to a business built on trust, compassion, and genuine connection.
